About Phuket offline map
Offline map of the tourist island of Phuket, Thailand for tourist & business visitors. Download before you go and avoid costly roaming charges. The map runs completely on your device; display with pan and zoom, routing, search, bookmark, everything. It does not use your data connection at all. Switch your phone function off if you wish to.
No ads. All features fully functional on installation, you do not need to buy add-ons or do additional downloads.
The map contains the whole island: Phuket Airport, Nai Yang Beach, Bang Tao Beach, Nai Thon Beach, Bang Tao Beach, Kamala Beach, Patong Beach, Kata Yai Beach, Kata Noi Beach, Nai Harn Beach, Rawai, Ko Line, Ko Hae, Coral Island.
The map is based on OpenStreetMap data, https://www.openstreetmap.org. The street network and tourist facilities are well mapped but be aware that a lot of streets are not yet named. You can support improve it by becoming an OpenStreetMap contributor. We periodically publish free updates with the recent data.
You can:
* find out where you are, if you have GPS.
* present a route between any put for motor vehicle, foot or bicycle; even without a GPS device.
* display easy turn-by-turn navigation [*].
* search for places
* display gazetteer lists of commonly required areas like hotels, eating places, shops, banks, things to see and do, golf courses, medical facilities. Present how to obtain there from your current location.
* bookmark areas like your hotel for simple return navigation.
* * Navigation will present you an indicative route and can be configured for car, bicycle or foot. The developers provide it without any guarantee that it is always correct. For example, OpenStreetMap data does not always have turn restrictions - areas where it is illegal to turn. Use with care and above all look out for and obey street signs.
We hope it does not happen to you but: Like most little developers, we cannot try a wide dozens of phones and tablets. If you have problem running the application, do email us and we will test to support and/or refund you.
